Today is Election Day in Virginia and once again I am a volunteer election official. I mention this to let you know I won't be online all day. Any comments you make won't be approved until the next day so they won't appear here until then. Any emails you send me won't be answered until tomorrow at the earliest, depending on how many I get. Sorry!
I am not thrilled to have to be up at 3 a.m. and to be on my feet at the polling location from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. or later, but I make that sacrifice each year so folks can exercise their right to vote. Don't miss this and make my sacrifice in vain!

Thank you my patriotic friend!
Thank you, Jane, for helping our democracy to thrive. I'm always very proud to vote and grateful for friends who make that happen.
You are both welcome! I survived another election. Next time I'm bringing MORE COFFEE, though. (and a third change of shoes--standing all day is tough)
