Repousse Stitch Tutorial UPDATED

The newest newsletter from Needlepoint for Fun has a tutorial for repousse stitch.  This is a raised wrapping technique perfect for a snake, a cat's tail, a rope, raised edge of a mirror, anything narrow and long on your canvas that you want to have a 3-D effect.

There are other explanations of the technique in the Techniques and Tips tab at the top of the page under the title.

UPDATE:  Ruth shows how to create a dragonfly tail.  (There are two parts.)
