Why God Invented Weird Needles

Here are the weird needles.  Check out the area to the left of Santa's heel to see the stitches I took out to replace and forgot about.

Details on Monday.  I should have stopped crying by then....

This is what I did instead of working on Santa.

Oh! Jane! Can you work a thread thru the backing? It won't be perfect anymore but the front will still be a joy.

On the other hand it is another learning opportunity. The charred canvas turned out and so will this.

Maybe. Of course it will. Keep your fingers crossed.

Not to worry, Margaret. I know exactly how to fix this.

If you cry all weekend, your face is gonna be ice! Besides, I know you can fix it--tie up your hair! Are you sure this needlecase isn't for me?

Not to worry, Pat, I'm not using glue, although having my hair in a pony tail is good when I'm bending low over something. Long hair, although mine is just a bit past shoulder length now, is always a giant pain when you are gluing things.

I've also sewn something to my pants when hemming but we won't talk about that....
