It's All About The Stash UPDATED

In today's news round-up, Vicky continues to report about the Dallas cash and carry trade show, items from which are about to show up in a needlepoint shop near you...

...Ridgewood showcases an amazing Christmas house canvas (which I think is from Susan Roberts but I am not certain)...

UPDATE:  Eileen confirmed the Christmas House is a Susan Roberts design.  There's a big Halloween house, too.  Here are pictures of it.

Sorry, Palma, but it really is all about the stash of goodies we collect for lean times.

"stash of goodies we collect for lean times"

since you put it that way, I feel better now :) When I look at my stash I come to the conclusion that some will have to be carried into my next life

Palma, the ones you know now you will never stitch can always go to the ANG Auction to raise money for their educational programs or go to women's prisons to give incarcerated folks things to do with their hands. I'll have to post links later on....

This is awesome Jane. For a long time I've been looking for a place to donate threads (have excesses of them) and also canvases which I am no longer interested in but was unable to find any. I did send a box of threads to my mother-in-law last year and she gave it to a church group but was asked to hold on future packages as it was too much for them. Please do post links, I'd be very happy to help and donate things. I also have a lot from my previous crosstitch life.

Palma, I'll pull together information about where to donate/sell items when I get a chance and post it. Maybe this weekend...?

Vicky, thanks for the correction. I had no idea you were going to become our cash and carry reporter! Thanks so much. It's fascinating to read about your adventures.
