Introducing Miko

It's time to introduce my next project, which is set in the world of the flower and the willow.  To get in the mood, watch this video, then read the article in the second link.

The canvas I am going to stitch is one of Leigh Design's Fash Inserts, a canvas intended to  decorate one of the Lee tote bags.  It is called Miko.  I should be working on my cat topiary garden but the huge amount of background was starting to get to me, so I picked up the next of my three Leigh tote bag pieces.  Because these Fash Inserts are small, they stitch up quickly.  I've had lots of fun with the background and her hair.  Monday I'll talk about her hair, which was inspired by a pumpkin.

But for tonight, I need to stitch topiaries!

Hair inspired by a pumpkin - this sounds like a Jane story to me! Do tell all.

Love Miko, but then again I do find it hard to resist a lovely Asian inspired canvas, especially Leigh's!

Me, too! I have absolutely no self-control either, Sheena.
