Drinks with Julia

The title should have drinks (and mermaids and a witch and convertible and cake) with Julia but that's too long. To see what I'm babbling about, head here--

Dead Jane,
I have followed your site for a couple of years. I finally became a member. I'm glad you are on FLIPBOARD. I ENJOY YOU SITE with all your info about what is going on w/needlepoint. Thank you for introducing me to GayAnn's website.
Do you know who or what sites are offering cyber classes soon or after the first of the year? I think they are fun. The only one I know of is Laura Perin. Thanks for a great blog.

I think you should join the Shining Needle Society so you can keep up with the classes they offer. All you need to do is join their Yahoo Group so notices of cyber classes are sent to you.

I am pretty sure that David McCaskill is going to do another cyber class for Needlenook of La Jolla. Right now he's doing It's All About the Shoes.

Another person to keep an eye on is Orna Willis. She's doing a NP beads jewelry class right now but I expect she'll do another next year.

The granddaddy of cyberclasses for needlepoint is the American Needlepoint Guide. They have a guild just for Internet members (those who don't live near a physical guild or who find making it to local meetings hard) and also do classes quarterly. Go to the ANG website and look under the Educational Opportunities header for the current and future cyberworkshops.

Information about Cyberpointers (the Internet guild) is also on their site. This is also set up as a Yahoo Group.

This should keep you busy for a while. Sorry that the links aren't live. I can't make links live in Comments so you'll have to copy/paste them. Good luck and happy studying!
