The Dot Box UPDATED

UPDATE:  I've been writing Blog articles two weeks ahead of time and the newsletter article and the Dot Box photos was deleted earlier this week.  Fortunately, Mary Ruth was on the ball and dug out info for us.   First, here is a photo of one of the smaller Dot Box sets.  Make sure you click on the smaller thumbnail photos for more pictures.

And here is a closeup of one of the smaller boxes that goes into the larger container.

MANY thanks, MR!

I just stumbled upon the Dot Box, a craft storage system that might interest folks who want to keep their beads and other odd items in one place. You can see it at Absolutely Needlepoint by going to this link, then clicking on Get the Point to go to their news page.

There is a big box that holds all the little boxes but the big boxes come in various sizes to hold various numbers of smaller containers, depending on just how much you want to organize.  I don't see these as good for threads storage but if you are addicted to beads and sequins and buttons, you might want to look for these at your local crafts emporium.

Jane, I did not find the Dot Box on the Absolutely Needlepoint site. A search for Dot Box storage turned up several sites. I found out that it is made by Cottage Mills.

Here is a picture one of the sets:
