Mary Corbet has an interest in ecclesiastical embroidery so a friend of hers sent her a great little booklet about the church embroideries decorating Liverpool Cathedral. Since the booklet is available for purchase and there is a website that talks about some of the collections described in it, Mary talks about the pamphlet in detail on her website. This is for fans of embroidery and gold work, particularly that stitched for cathedrals and churches.

Of course if you happen to be in Liverpool this year, you should check out the cathedral and the Embroidery Trail that covers a lot of fascinating stitching in various spots all over the city.

Thank you, Jane, for a comment on my blog!
I also appreciate you made a post about Mary's post. I probably missed it. Goldwork and ecclesiastical embroidery is my other passion and I would love to purchase that booklet. Your blog is so informative. Thank you for your time to gather all news around the world for us.
You are welcome! I love the new Turkish rug designs, by the way. I too like gold work and ecclesiastical embroidery so I love mentioning these things, particularly when Mary's talked about them. She has a great amount of knowledge on these things.
