Winterthur Museum Acquires Erica Wilson Collection

Apparenty the Winterthur Museum has been given many of Erica Wilson's stitched pieces. Isn't that lovely?  This article talks about the impact Erica Wilson had on many types of needlework in the 1970s and beyond.

Erica Wilson was my first needlework superstar. I finished a few of her kits, and have a couple of her books. I also remember watching her PBS show when I was a lot younger.

Me, too! Except I never bought any of her kits. They weren't available in my area. There wasn't (and still isn't) and sort of needlework shop there unless you quilt or sew clothing.
