The Computer Pixie, Framed! |
I finally got around to framing my Computer Pixie* by turning under the edges and adding a twisted cord I made from size 5 perle cotton, then attaching her with glue to the back of a shadow box frame I found on sale at Michael's. She's off to the county fair to charm all the folks visiting the Needlework Exhibit. She was a lot of fun, even though I went off the rails quite often when it came to following Sheena's fun stitch guide. I do love stitching humorous canvases and people!
*Design by Ruth Schmuff, with a free Sheena James stitch guide.

Perfect framing for this little charmer! Good luck at the fair!
It was entertaining reading your posts about the Computer Pixie, so I'm happy to see this project full circle and framed. Yes, good luck at the fair! Are you submitting any othe projects?
That's very creative framing, Jane! She'll be admired by all at the fair.
No, I only submitted one thing this year. I am slow finishing things and several of my projects were models for designers anyway. Those I cannot show at the fair as they go to live with their creator.
Hope folks like her. After all, we all have daydreamed at our computers at work.
Love what you did with Coomputer Pixie and the framing is fabulous! :)
I'm glad you like her, Sheena, despite my total inability to follow your fabulous stitch guide!
