I've seen Puffin and Company's micro threader and it is really tiny. However, I use an old fashioned wire needle threader, the kind that has a stamped tin base.

I buy a package whenever I find them (they are getting harder to find) and open it right away, laying the threaders out on the kitchen counter on a sheet of waxed paper. Then I put a drop of super glue on the base where the wires attach and let them all dry. I rarely pulled the wires out now when threading up my beading needles, whether for beading or stitching on silk gauze, since.

I have ripped the wire out of so many threaders that I want to thank you for the glue idea. Not sure why I never thought of that. I have been using the hook type of threader but so hard to find one small enough.
Stitchers don't know their own strength! This works well for me, so I hope it works for you, too.
the Puffin micro threader is adorable BUT it bends right up with any pressure trying to pull waxed beading thread thru the beading needle tiny eye as is cannot handle the thread looped over making it two thicknesses thick. I have tried everything I can to flatten it back out but it will not come thru the hole at all now. I have to just use it for big regular needles
I wondered about the Puffin tiny threaders. Good to know that they can be distorted by pulling hard. Thanks, Fox!
