Want to Be a Las Vegas Showgirl Instead?
Labels:
Leigh,
showgirls,
stitch guides
Then you will need this Leigh canvas and stitch guide! The headdress and bodice are beaded, then the rest of the canvas is long and short feather stitched with one ply of Splendor. The words in the background are the finishing touch. Leona, who wrote the guide, added them. I think they make a lovely background! Here's the link to see more--

How gorgeous! The beaded gown and then the feather stitches! I would love to see this in person!
I'd love to see it in person also. I hear it'll be at the trade shows Leigh goes to, since she'll have the stitch guide for sale. All you shop owners, check it out for us, ok?
It's probably just as well I'm not anywhere near Stitch Niche in Mississippi. They'd have to drag me out of the store at night.
