I liked Pat's ideas so much I thought I'd put them here so everyone can see. I'm still going to try a few alternating cashmere pair stitches in my Watercolours sometime. I did more background last night and I'll be doing background for at least another week I think. So bear with me. With the holidays approaching I probably don't have the brain cells to spare for coming up with any other stitches.

is it me or is there no posting of the ideas you said you were putting here for all to see...? having one of those days? or is it me? :-) i look so forward to your photos that are sooooo enlightening that i searched high and low for this one...
The idea is Pat's and is the one I posted. Sorry that wasn't clear. I'm not certain about my ideas yet so I used Pat's clever one for the border. Sorry to be so confusing but you know Communicate is Hard.

Don't hold your breath about an update, Pat. I have too much background I'm trying to finish before I am distracted by another area of this lovely canvas.
