Today I have a collection of lovely finished pieces for you to enjoy. First, an antique Bargello piece from the EGA collection that they charted a few years back for their magazine.

Robin King recently got a photograph from one of her students of class pieces that won ribbons at Woodlawn. What a thrill! Actually I've had the pleasure of seeing some of Lori's work at her shop, Waste Knot. Trust me, Robin, the photos don't do these justice.

Needle Bug has two bracelets, and a purse just back from the finisher. The bracelets are from a Julia Snyder class but I'm not sure about the Melissa Shirley purse.

Speaking of eye candy, check out this spectacular Eye Candy design stitched by the incredible Palma. If she had time to do stitch guides, we'd all be lining up at her door!

Absolutely Needlepoint has some wonderful small pieces and ornaments to show off.

It's a crime that no one knows who created the Brockhampton Church Embroideries. To my eye, there are at least three stitchers at work. What do you think?

Apparently the gift of the hand embroidery was anonymous.

wow to those church embroideries. Amazing how the colors look like they were painted yesterday. I wonder if one day our creations will also be displayed :)
And thanks for your kind words
We eagerly await your retirement from medicine, Palma. We WANT those stitch guides!
Hi Jane. Thank you for mentioning the great stitching from Lori Mazza/Waste Knot Needlepoint at Woodlawn. It was fun to blog about it. How fortunate for you to visit Lori's shop. It is my hope to some day visit and possibly teach there. She is such a nice person. Again, thanks. You are the best. Robin
Robin, you'd love Lori's shop. She has probably 4-5,000 painted canvases and there are threads and books and tools everywhere. What Lori doesn't have, Liz at Needlewoman East only about 15 minutes away (it might be 8-10 miles but the traffic can be horrendous) probably has. It's always a fun trip to visit them!
