I love my porcupine laying quill. Not only does it have a bit of flexibility, I find it's lighter to hold, warmer in your hand, and because of the width and decorative piece at the top, easier to keep in your palm. Metal laying tools are too thin to hold with arthritic fingers. My second favorite laying tool is the needle trolley. Thanks for this post.
