It's not been a good week for needlework supplies--SJ Designs has also discovered the manufacturers of flat sequins in the 2mm size have stopped making them.

UPDATE: Cartwright's also has them in mixed colors. I'm sure if you search, you can find other sources, but Cartwright's is my go-to source for sequins if my favorite shops don't have what I need.
