A Replacement for the Tacky Bob

Quail Run is selling a replacement for the Tacky Bob.  It is called the Bead Bed. I know I've mentioned it before but I don't think any shops had them at that time.

It looks like it has sticky mats for beads in the lid and bottom in a lighter and darker shade so you can see various colors of beads easier.  I think the dark gray area is the magnet to hold beading needles.  There are more details on the Bead Bed website.

New Designers

There have been new shops opening and new designers painted canvases for us these days, perhaps encouraged by the explosion of folks looking for needlepoint to keep themselves busy.  

I found three new designers this morning.  If you live in New England, the Cape Cod themed "Call Me When You Get to the Bridge" from Frances Mary Needlepoint will charm you.  If not, her beach and summer designs are fresh and funny.
