The Movie for Needlepointers: Thelma

Thanks to Family Arts, I know that Thelma, a movie just out, is based on the life of a real person, who is 104 and a needlepointer.  Some of the movie was filmed in the real Thelma's apartment so we might get to see some of her stitching.  Apparently she tried to get the actor who plays her to learn to stitch, too.

Sign of the Arrow is expanding!  They are taking over the retail space next to the current shop so they have room for classes, retreats and of course--more needlepoint!

Mounting Canvas on an Elbesee Frame: The Movie

I'd never heard of Elbesee frames, which isn't surprising as it's a UK company and I'm American.

I just stumbled across this video from Latvian Crafts that shows how to assemble the large frame.
