A Mirror to My Art Contest

Sampler fans and those who enjoy reproduction embroidery will enjoy looking at the twenty finalists in Needleprints' "A Mirror to My Art" contest. Stitchers were challenged to design a cover for a hand mirror.  Start with the 15 September entry and scroll back in time using the Older Posts link to see the finalists.  The winner is announced in the second link below. I would have found it very hard to decide among them myself!

Vikki The Finisher

I just stumbled across mention of a finisher I hadn't heard about--Vikki of Vikki's Stuff of Austin, TX. Her website is full of lovely things, so please take a little time to browse. After all, finishers put the icing on our cakes!

I am certainly grateful to hear that DMC's office and warehouse are back up and running after the mess that was Hurricane Sandy.
