Beaded Tap Pants
Labels:
camouflage bra and tap pants,
SharonG
Here is a photo of the totally beaded tap pants. Don't they look great?! It's a unique look to have a canvas covered in bead "ice." I've put this aside for a bit as I am working on the bra's background. More on that tomorrow as hopefully I'll finish Step One of the background tonight.
I like to do backgrounds first but on this project I didn't have a frame yet so I beaded the tap pants while looking for frames. I intend to frame these two canvases separately in identical frames. Once I found frames, then I decided on a background for the pieces and started working it around the bra.

Love the Beaded Tap Pants, Jane. Your Tap Pants look as if they had been caught in a Winter Storm. Nice Ice. The weather here in Memphis is calling for an ice storm. Brrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh, and thank you very much for the nice Blog mention. We're having fun.
They do look icy, don't they? And we are going to get some of the storm you will, so I'll be heading to the grocery store at lunchtime today.
Everyone stay safe!
Glad to mention your blog. It's been a lot of fun to watch.
The pants look nice. Look forward to seeing your background choice.
Thank you for the compliment, Beth. I should have enough background done to show off tomorrow.
These look great! I look forward to seeing what the background looks like! Back from the store and ready for 6-12 inches of snow here in the mountains!
Background? I totally forgot about doing a background for the Kitty Bra & Tap Pants! Geez... what was I thinking? Well, thanks for the reminder. The Chilly Hollow Blog is very helpful on so many levels.
I love it Jane!!! You are now the Bead Queen!
Jane,
The Tap Pants look great and thanks for letting us see all about beads. I am going to be marking the canvas today to start Tony's project while waiting for the "Halloween Study" from Amy. Soon Katt Z Witch will come and what stitching fun I am going to have. Have a nice weekend, Jane and everyone stay warm and dry
Sue VanderNoor
They're great!
Thanks for the compliment, Pat. We are supposed to get 1-3 inches, much less than you. Hope both predictions are wrong!
Robin, you crack me up. I was wondering what you'd do for a background but you really could just toss in a few fish shapes and be done with it.
Thank you, Sharon. I am sure the bead store thinks I'm the bead queen now. They'd never heard of adding beads to NP! (And had never heard of NP but were too polite to say. LOL)
Gosh, Sue, you have a full winter of stitching planned! Have fun-fun-fun.
I'm glad you like the tap pants, e-Rose. How have you been feeling? I miss your Elizabethean stitching blog but I know getting better should be your first priority.
Jane -- just wanted to say how much I love your blog. You are my starting point with coffee every morning! Thanks for all the fabulous bits of information you pass along. Very useful, although I have to be very carful not to add to my already ridiculous number of planned projects for the year, or next five years, I should say. :)

What a nice thing to say, Cindy! Thanks. You made my evening. Sorry about the Master Enabler part.
This is great. Thanks for sharing this I love it :)
Glad you enjoyed the beaded canvas, Terri. Hopefully I'll finish the bra today.
