Amanda Lawford Designs now has music boxes that have spaces for various canvases in the lids. You can see them here, along with a selection of canvases that fit. Clicking on any thumbnail tells you a bit more about each box (including a photograph of the inside) as well as the melody it plays.

Jane, I'm stitching the baby canvas for a friend who's due in July. I'm using diagonal mosaic (only the second time I've done a decorative stitch) for the background. I got the canvas and music box at The Point of it All.
