What is Japan Thread?

Recently a friend asked me what Japan Thread was. I did my best to answer, sending her links to Kreinik's website page on Japan Thread.  I suspect Doug Kreinik of reading our minds since his blog has a posting today all about Japan Thread--what it is, what it is good for, the new colors available, etc.

Kreinik has psychic capabilities :)

Great article, thanks for posting. Now I feel like using it; as someone suggested those new colors would look great on a Halloween project

MaryLu used the gold Japan Thread on our Kleo canvas (pictured on our May 29th blog post) and this stuff looks terrific! I haven't seen the colors worked on a canvas yet - do they look as good?

Peggi, I haven't seen anything stitched with the new Japan Thread colors, either. Has anyone used this yet?

Here's the link to the blog post Peggi is talking about.
