Thanks to a posting Melita did to the ANG email list, I can point you to an expert beader who not only makes jewelry, she also beads canvas (probably artist canvas, not NP canvas) with original designs. Aren't they lively and fun? I hope this gives you lots of ideas for your needlepoint canvases.

How gorgeous! The woman has the patience of a saint!
For all we know she is gluing the beads in place. I didn't see any explanation of how they are attached. I think they are on artist canvas, not NP canvas, so it is hard to say but I bet putting a needle through artist canvas is going to be durned difficult.
