Orna Willis has discovered leather thimbles and boy! Does she love them!!! I have one of these myself. I find it a little stiff but then I don't use it often, just for real problem areas. It wasn't very expensive if I remember correctly, so checking these out is a good idea for those who don't like traditional thimbles but who need protection and a little extra needle pushing power.

Kreinik has posted a bit about a hand made needle case using their threads, beads and a lot of ingenuity. It's a lovely little thing, isn't it?
