Because I love books as much as I love threads, I thought I would post about a new book that has just been introduced--Gone Stitching's Got Stitches?

UPDATE: I think the last four photos on Ridgewood's blog are from the Got Stitches book.

There isn't anything about the book on their website yet but I've learned it is $25 and you can call the shop or email michele@gonestitching.net to buy a copy. Michele describes it thus: "Portable stitch book of multi-layered stitches categorized by the number of threads used. In color with stitched samples!"

Gone Sittching just posted a peek inside on Facebook. There are two photos so use the arrow to see more. Note that there are multi-colored diagrams without numbers to indicate stitch path (this bothers some people) and also color photos of stitched examples.

UPDATE: Here is another peek inside, from Pocket Full of Stitches.

Amy Bunger just posted about the newest Fingerstep Designs piece, Dots Spots and Blocks.

Amy mentioned how often she uses the older Fingerstep Designs book called Quick Stitch Variations to find small patterns. Follow the links to see more about this book.

It looks like there are quite a few stitch collections from Fingerstep. Some are projects, some just collections of stitches.

I do have a review of Susan Jones' Bargello Samplers book, but I have never seen any of her books or charts in person.
