What really hurts, though, is that so many people just don't appreciate the work that goes into the handmade.
However, folks here appreciate the skill and time involved. At least we know among our little circle just how much love goes into needlework!
There are some things that cannot be explained. Yes it might be purchased more cheaply, but each piece that is made by hand contains the days prayers, thoughts, hopes and dreams, which is priceless.
You are SO right!
Come to think about it, we live in a world where many folks don't even cook their own meals or even know how to sew on a button. Hand made is not something they are familiar with.
