A Lesson for the Perfectionist Inside Us

I've always thought that needlepointers fall into two camps: the perfectionists and the stitchers who needlepoint for fun and relaxation.  I'm a fun and relaxation person myself (if you toss in a bit of "Let's Try Something New").  It took me a long time to realize that I needed to learn to Not Settle in my stitching and that my lackadaisical attitude of Fun First had something to teach the perfectionists among us.  We both need to learn from each other's personality style.

Reading this article from Thistle Threads about perfectionists who are interested in taking Tricia Nguyen's stumpwork casket classes, I wonder if there aren't more perfectionists among us than I realized.  What do you think?
