The Desperate Ornament Finisher's Friend

It's less than a week until Christmas and you just finished that ornament you really really really want on your tree. What to do!?  This little no sew finishing book might be the answer to your prayers.

It is also available as a PDF instant download.  The author teaches a three hour finishing class for needlepointers.  Her technique is based on these classes and uses the ornaments done in class for the illustrations in the book and PDF file.

Many thanks to Morgan Julia for mentioning this on her blog.

Her book is also available as a pdf download on her Etsy shop for $12.00. Just ordered this myself--looks very good.

We are very fortunate to have Eleanore teach at Twisted Stitches Needlepoint, and we have the books in stock.

Hi

That's my saguaro ornament. Since I flunked coloring in the first grade (true story) this class was a big step in conquering my fears. I utilized both glue and scissors in a public setting without buying liability insurance or requiring my classmates to don hazmat suits.

The teacher advocates using bar coasters to eliminate the need to cut mat board. Now, there's a great idea.... and an excuse to take your needlepoint friends out for a drink!

The class (at Twisted Stitches in Albuquerque) was a blast - take the class, buy the book!

Merry Christmas
