New in 2023

I'm going to arrange this listing of the newest items available at the various wholesale trade shows and throughout the year differently than what I did in the past.  The latest will be on top, but any shop or designer that posts a large group of new items on their website or blog or Instagram/Facebook page will be in BOLD letters and highlighted in yellow.  I won't put those in a different section any more.  Hope this works well for you!

Great news!  SJ Designs reports that Zweigart has a new "Dusty Rose" canvas color that matches DMC #151.  Zweigart still can't make the old "Rose Blush" color but hopefully this brighter pink will work well with your designs.

Almost all are pre-orders as these designs aren't released until October's trade show.

Art Needlepoint's Bucket Bags have been very popular.  There is a choice of metals and leathers in finishing.

Jolly Red has a new tapestry kit celebrating robins and Christmas.  This is a printed design on 10 count canvas.  The kit includes Anchor tapestry wool.

Saturnalia Stitching celebrates sunsets and toasted marshmallows in this new ornament.

Gingham Stitchery's "Celtic Knot Shamrock" is a fun one.

Blueberry Post has a wonderful watercolor type floral available in several shapes and sizes that is just beautiful.

DMC has quite a few new printed designs for sale.  These appear to be on 10 count (I didn't check them all) and DMC also sells collections of their tapestry wool to stitch them with.

Rachel Barri also has new leathers in their popular Everyday Clutch.  This is the caramel suede.  The second link below is to the cherry red leather.  Looks like it comes in dark green and patent leather, too.

DMC has partnered with the Louvre for two needlepoint kits, one of the Mona Lisa and the other one of Redoute's peonies.

The Gingham Stitcher has a new owl design based on Audubon's Birds of America and...

Fire and Iris is a new designer, specializing in small designs that celebrate the great outdoors.  I love the lighting bugs in a jar, the sun, moon and mountain tarot cards, the cattle dog (a neighbor has one to help herd) and the camping mugs.  The various monsters will charm outdoors folk who keep expecting to run into Sasquatch when hiking.

For those who begged Raymond Crawford to sell his Halloween cake canvases again, with the assistance of customers who stitched it, he's recreated the design.  Available December 2023.  There is a guide but that will only be available from Nashville Needleworks.
