Wear It, Carry It

Rittenhouse just wrote about some of the many wearable needlepoint designs they have created and/or finished for their customers.

Somewhat along the same lines, check out these portfolios for carrying your canvases safely as you travel.  Linda says they are from Bags by Barb, owned by Barbara Garrana.

Barb does regular bags as well as portfolios.  Here is more about her courtesy of Janet Perry.

Lee's Leather Pillows and Barb's Custom Bags UPDATED

Absolutely Needlepoint in Miami has just posted photographs of the new Lee leather pillows. These are easy to finish--just pop the canvas you just stitched inside the hole!  I have not seen these in person but since Lee/Colonial's other leather goods are first rate, I bet these are great quality, too.

Janet Perry has learned about the Bags by Barb custom totes.  Here's all about the Bags by Barb series. She will even make a portfolio so you can carry your painted canvas project safely.

Here is the Bags by Barb site.  The second link shows the bag Barb made for Kimberly.

UPDATE:  Vicky DeAngelis thinks that there are two different Bags by Barb companies.  So the link Janet Perry posted is a different Barb.  What a coincidence!

Thanks for the help, Vicky.  And why are you up so early?!
