Butterflies, Moths and a Dragonfly -- All of the above are featured in SharonG's newest insect designs that were introduced at the TNNA show in Columbus in June. SharonG has updated her website with images of the new canvases plus her first book and the canvases are very beautiful. Each has a wonderful border that compliments the winged creature featured as the central motif.

By the way, SharonG just taught at Nimble Needle so they have a few autographed copies of her first book available if you are a collector.

The newest canvases are just gorgeous! I can't decide which one is my favorite. At first I thought it was the Scarlet tiger moth, then I thought it was the Virgin Tiger because of the magnificent borders. So many canvases!!
It is hard to decide, isn't it? I love the Luna moth because we have them here. (Watson just caught a baby Luna when we were out walking one night. He leaped up in the air and grabbed it in his mouth, then spit it out. The Luna flew away, probably to report the shark attack it survived to all its friends.) But they are all gorgeous and I would happily stitch any of them.
