It's been busy here in Chilly Hollow this morning. I've added a new article about Sheena's stitch guides to the CH Stitch Guides blog, and...

...I've added Vicky's blog back to the blog list at the bottom of this page since her server is once again free and out of the control of hackers, and I've been busy oogling Kirk and Hamilton's poison bottles. Since I've gone from a non-Halloween stitcher to someone who has stitched several in the past year with more in the queue, I have to warn you. Beware! The ghosts and goblins WILL get you!

Jane, I know what you mean about not stitching a lot for Halloween. I've done a few pieces and joined one club, but didn't stitch much. Now, with Halloween blending with autumnal decorations and merging into Thanksgiving, there is a longer period of time to display the decorations.
Couple that with all of the amazing designers and canvases, great stitch guides, threads and embellishments, and all the peer pressure from other stitchers doing marvelous pieces, and it's impossible to resist.
I agree with you - the Kirk & Hamilton bottles are adorable! How big do you think the canvases are?
Judy, I'm not sure. Chandail is planning a series for them this fall, so I checked their Facebook page and their website. I found this with photos of more in the set, but no information on size and canvas count.

They are not on the K and H website. I guess we'll have to wait for PFOS to answer your question. I've seen photos of them made up into stand ups (on FB?) but there wasn't any information about them there.
AHA! I found some of the bottles on the Needlepoint.com website which says they come on either 13 or 18 count and gives a size of 5 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches for one bottle and 6 1/2 by 3 1/4 for another. I'd guess the dimensions are for the 18 count version but I don't know for sure. Looks like they are not all the same size, which would make for a nicer display in my opinion.
You can rummage around on the NP.com website by starting here.
