The Delight of Finishing

As we all know, the final step in our stitching is making up our needlepoint into something fabulous. Today I have some wonderful finishing for you to enjoy. The Kelly Clark crazy quilt pillow will be in Needlepoint Now soon. The other pieces will go to their owners to grace their houses with something unique and hand made, which I think is important in this mass produced age.  Enjoy all the beauty that is being shared in the links below.

Hi Jane! Thanks for the mention! That was one piece that was a love from beginning to end! Last week I took the pillow with me for the Workshop at Needle House in Houston, where it sat on the table.
A customer in the shop came by and said to the owner, Nancy, "I didn't know you had quilting?" To my absolute delight, she thought it was an actual quilt piece!
That was a huge reward for me! :~)

Gosh, it must have made you feel great to have your crazy needlepointing mistaken for crazy quilting. It's a lovely piece and must have been great fun to work out. Now that it is done and traveling to classes with you, folks will have a chance to study it and enjoy it even more.

Congratulations on a wonderful piece of needle art.
