Bestitched has two Deco Kitty kits available if you were tempted by their Vicky DeAngelis class but couldn't attend. They are on sale, too. Wish I had more time. If I did, there would only be one left as I love SharonG's work and what Vicky choose for it in the stitch guide.

UPDATE: Vicky talks about this canvas on her blog. Looks like just one Deco Kitty still needs a good home!

Jane, I want to thank you for your being such a great "friend" in the needlepoint community! You are my first website I visit each day and appreciate you keeping us all informed as to what is going on, what is cool, and sales! I also vist stitcherie a lot, as in it has become my "social networking" site and often see your comments there as well. Thank you for hosting a great site and being a friend to all your followers!
Thanks, Jan. That is a very nice thing to say! The Internet is the only way I an connect with other needlepointers since I live in an isolated area so it is nice to have friends all over like you.
Oh Jane, I understand! My name is Janet Simons, you may have seen me on Stitcherie. I do not have any friends that Needlepoint - and so my only outlet is through the internet! I just started Needlepointing in February this year - and have gone NUTS! All my projects are BIG and finished one piece all basketweave in May and then bought a 20x20 pillow and a 10x16 whimsical Santa - I am about 75% done with both and just purchased several smaller (5x7) type pieces because I need some finishes! I am also doing a couple of Ruth's mysteries (candyland trees and Row of Ladies) that I have not started yet. I need to learn to bead! Anyway - I have jumped in with both feet and loving the ride! Again, thank you so much for being such a positive influence and source of knowledge. You and your site really are a cornerstone of the community!
Yours truly
Janet
If you come to San Francisco anytime - let me know - I live near the city!
Hello, Janet! You have the NP bug, no doubt about it! LOL There are a lot of people in the same boat as you. I am the only person in my county who needlepoints. Three others did, but one died, one's eyesight is going and the third is just too busy with golf to do stitching. So I too am stitching by myself. Thank goodness for the Internet.
Beading on NP canvas is easy. Search Blog using the term beads and you should find some resources to help you get started. It's dead easy. Of course beads are escape artists!
Almost forgot. Thanks for the nice invite if I'm ever in SF. I rarely go anywhere (Beloved is chronically ill) but if that changes and I can travel, I'll give you a call.
