Fans of good design will enjoy browsing the Ehrman sale. If you aren't familiar with Ehrman kits, these are from a variety of British textile designers and printed on larger canvases that come with the wools necessary to complete the design. I think these days they sometimes kit with cotton and the sizes of the canvas that comes with the kits varies from 7 to 12 count, so read the descriptions carefully before you buy to know exactly what the kit you lost your heart to will be like. Be warned: these are meant to be done in continental, not basketweave, so you may run short of threads if you stitch another way.

Hi Jane: Ehrman has apparently realized that many US customers prefer basketweave, because the company now provides extra wool in the kits sent to US customers...no extra charge. Ehrman has wonderful customer service. I bought a kit at least 20 years ago and proceeded to stitch it in basketweave and only recently had to ask the company to provide more wool. It cost me less than $5 for the additional wool I needed, and the person who helped me was really patient in matching the colors I needed, as the colors in my kit were no longer available.
Thank you SO much for the update, Wendy! I haven't worked an Ehrman kit in years so I've not seen one recently. Good to know that they are cognizant of the differences in stitching styles and are so good with customer service. Thank you again.
