The Embroiders Guild of America (EGA) will hold their 2014 Seminar in Phoenix, AZ. The local EGA chapter is doing a fund raiser to help with Seminar expenses. Tisha at Needlepoint Tool Time tells us all about the charms and magnets they are selling to honor stitching legends. If you are a fan of Chottie Alderson, Jacqueline Enthoven, Margaret Fleming, Carol Algie Higginbotham, Jean Hilton, or Gay Ann Rogers, you'll want to see these.

I did a little research and found better photos of each legend's design ("Print Color Flyer") and an order form ("Print Sales Order Form") on the Pacific Southwest Region's chapter website. The patterns are clever and come in either a charm or magnet style, your choice. You can also order the entire set of six if you prefer.

The magnets are meant to be refrigerator magnets but you can use them as a magnet on your needlepoint canvas to hold your needles if you add a second magnet to the back of your ground fabric.
This is a very clever way to raise money for the EGA Seminar and honors some of the most influential stitchers of our age.
