Now that 120 years have passed since the Borden double murder, new information is starting to appear from closed files and personal records. I'm sorry I live too far away to make a return trip to the Historical Society. As William Roughead said, "...one cannot have too much of a good murder."

The quotation in the title is from A Private Disgrace, by Victoria Lincoln, which has always been my favorite book on the Lizzie Borden case.
UPDATE: Here's a great visual look at the case. It repeats inaccuracies but the photographs are wonderful.

In later years Lizzie used to summer with her sister in my hometown in N.H. I always found this story very intriguing.
