Mary Corbet shows off a way to organize a full range of thread colors. It won't work for everyone but this might be the answer for you, for at least your favorite brand.

I can't believe I never thought of using those DMC things for this. Well, yes, I can. I immediately knew what she used when I clicked the link and saw the picture. I have a burning question, though. What is this Silk Mill she's talking about? There's nothing on the linked site that describes the thread other than to say it's silk. Is it floss or something else? I need to know.
Like I really need to discover a new brand of silk thread.
Don't you love it when a threadaholic gets the scent of something new? Ok, SL, go here-http://www.thesilkmill.com and if you order, tell them you just heard about yesterday's 24 percent off sale and can you get in on it still?
By the way, they have six hundred shades of silk floss.....
