Thistle Hill is holding its third annual needlepoint exhibit from February 24-38 in Fort Worth, Texas. This show is called "A Needlepoint Love Story" and because it is the third annual exhibit, the organizers are calling this Chapter Three. This year the exhibit (which raises funds for Historic Fort Worth) will have three exclusive heart canvases that celebrate Thistle Hill. The French Knot in Fort Worth did the stitch guides and will sell a limited number of the canvases during the show. Fancy Stitches in Cleburne will also have some of the hearts available. You can also pre-order the heart canvases although I am not sure where. I am sure the two shops helping with this (links below) will be able to advise you. Needlepoint This will have tickets to the exhibit and may be able to order hearts as well.

We are thrilled that you wrote about us. We do a top quality show with over 70 contributors. We have had approximately 700 pieces displayed in the first two shows. This show has no entry fees and is non juried. We don't even require that you stitched it. If you have it and you love it, we show it. These are items found in shops, stitched when young, passed down, new, etc. We have everything you can imagine from furniture to tiny nativities. I had trouble posting this as sally Vaughn so I am trying annonymous
Thanks, Sally! Good luck with the newest show. Just wish I was close enough to visit and perhaps help.
I am writing this in an effort to clear up the confusion about our Thistle Hill canvases. Ada Haydon of EyeCandy Needlearts designed the first three canvases of the series for our event at Historic Fort Worth's cattle baron's mansion,Thistle Hill. The canvases are only available at our event or through Historic Fort Worth.
Because we don't have access to threads our sponsor, the French Knot, wrote a stitch guide for us. the guide and threads available from them.
Our other local shops, Fancy Stitches, Needlepoint This, and Creative Stitches and Gifts are acting as ticket outlets for pre-sale of tickets.
Our event will be open for tours Feb. 25-Feb. 28. Please tour and pick up your canvases in the gift shop or order from: suzy_coleman@historicfortworth.org.
The canvases are sold individually. You do not have to order all three. They are each $50:00+tax and/or handling if mailed.
We do not sell threads or guides.
We will continue to sell the canvases after the show through our gift shop at Historic Fort Worth.
Thank you.
THANK YOU! I wondered about the details of the canvas hearts and where one could buy them but couldn't find any information.
