Courtesy of a dear friend who maybe knows me a little too well, I have a new canvas in my collection. It is eight inches square on 18 count canvas. My version has purple letters on an ecru background, although you can purchase black lettering on ecru from the Bloomin Stitches store. (This is a shop exclusive so this is the only place to pick it up.)

A friend saw my present and ordered red letters on a white background, so you can get this customized to your preferred colors. So what is my newest treat, you ask?

It cracks me up every time I look at it. Many thanks to Laura at Bloomin Stitches and especially my friend who obviously are as strange as I am. Now I need to assemble purple threads, beads and sequins and a very feminine background stitch so this will be as ladylike as possible until one reads the text.

This is hysterical!
I love it!! Liz
I laughed till I cried! How fun! Great way to start the day - thanks for sharing!
Love it! LOL.
It was a great present and will make a wonderful wedding gift for Beloved's best friend's daughter who is a tad, shall we say, unconventional?
Love it! Speaks to me. Hahahahahaha!
Can't see what could possibly make that feminine
I'm thinking lace trim, a floral lavender print for the back side (for a pillow) and of course lots and lots of beads.
Oh! Ruffles! In cases like this a good finisher is essential to make it really lady like (except for the message).
Love it. I've done my own subversive gift stitching in the past. The right person is always appreciative.
I find this disgusting! So much for femininity on this blog ........
To each his/her own.
