Breaking News: Stacy Brown Has Died UPDATED

The Nimble Needle in Atlanta has just posted an obituary for Stacy Brown, the owner of the shop, who just lost her long brave fight with lung cancer.

We are sorry to hear that another great stitcher (and shop owner) has left us behind as they continue their great adventure.

Stacy was the nicest, most gracious woman I have known. She had class, style and her shop was physically and emotionally beautiful. She was creative and a beautiful stitcher and she will be missed.

I didn't know her but I can see how much of an impact she made in many stitchers' lives. I know you'll miss her.

she had sold the shop to Jan around the same time Jeanene was closing/trying to sell In Stitches in Atlanta this past summer also. so sad. I hear another new shop has opened in atlanata - something like Labors of Love..?

Yes, the guys who own Labors of Love are opening a shop. I think it's actually open now, although I don't remember exactly where it is located. They have a Facebook page for it, so if you are in the area, check it out. Give Mark and JP big hugs from me.
