Online Niki McDonald Exhibit

Sadly, one cannot go to see Niki McDonald's needlepoint exhibit but there's an online catalogue of her work here—

Her original pieces are so clever!  You can see more of Niki's work at her Tapestry Girl website.

And here is an interview.  NP For Fun did a good one, since they understand needlepoint and know what to ask.

Introducing Tapestry Girl

Thanks to Needlepoint for Fun I've discovered Tapestry Girl.  Her real name is Niki McDonald and she creates huge needlepoint canvases inspired by street graffiti in Australia.

She has a website which is great fun to explore.  Don't miss the video hidden under "B.O.W. 2010."

She also has a Facebook page.
