Breaking News: Chart Thief on Etsy

Textured Treasures has discovered that the Etsy shop "BettsVintagePatterns" is selling PDF versions of one of Textured Treasures' charts.  This person is also selling other designers' work as his/her own.  Fortunately, after a lot of folks complained on Karen's behalf, Etsy pulled the sale.  It looks like the seller has stopped all sales, too.  Hopefully this is for good.

If you want to buy a real Textured Treasures chart, just visit Karen's website.  She sells kits, too.  A friend is stitching From Dusk to Dawn, and it is stunning!

Textured Treasures Website is Live!

Congratulations to Karen Dudzinski whose Textured Treasures website is now live!

The name doesn't ring a bell?  Karen does intricate geometric charts and also sells kits for those who don't have easy shop access.  Stuff like this--

Check the description as some of the Textured Treasures designs are on linen while others are on needlepoint canvas.  Karen's in Canada but I haven't heard of any delays in shipping kits and charts across the border.

One Motif Becomes Christmas Ornament UPDATED

Melita's ANG chapter is doing a project which involves taking motifs from one of Textured Treasures' designs and making it into a Christmas ornament.

It's a great idea for those of us with a geometric chart hidden away we'll never stitch.  Pick one area and turn that into a Christmas design!

If you don't have any counted needlepoint charts you can always buy something from Textured Treasures....

UPDATE:  Melita had so much fun she used two more motifs as ornaments.

Here is the framed finished piece.
