Georgian Needlepoint Slippers

I thought you'd love seeing these beautiful needlepoint slippers, dated 1730-40 A.D.   They are English, stitched with wool on linen needlepoint canvas, and are from the Victoria and Albert Museum's collection.

Visiting Needlework All Over England

Kathy has been to Hampton Palace visiting the Royal School of Needlework on a trip to England from her current home base of Berlin. Her report makes me feel like I walked through those gates with her and met crewel enthusiasts from all over the world who are studying there.
