A Tour of Cindy's Needle Art

Sheena's been to Canada on a short vacation, and since she was in the Toronto area, she visited Cindy's Needle Art in a suburb of that city.  She met up with friends from Facebook and had a lovely time touring the shop, seeing all the Sew Much Fun models (Cindy's sister designs Sew Much Fun canvases and Cindy stitches them and writes stitch guides for many), and generally enjoying herself.  The photos of the many Sew Much Fun models are astounding!

Here is the shop website.

And here is the Sew Much Fun website.   Ordinarily you cannot order directly from the designer but since her sister owns a needlepoint shop, you can pretty much get any Sew Much Fun canvas you want without much of a wait if you go through Cindy's Needle Art.

Thanks for the tour, Sheena!  It was fabulous!

Visiting Cindy's Needle Art

While on vacation in Toronto, Sheena visited Cindy's Needle Art in the Toronto suburbs. Then she came home and treated us to pictures!  The shop name may not ring a bell, but I bet you know Sew Much Fun, the designs that Cindy and her sister Randi design, stitch and send all over the USA.

If you fall in love with something, let the shop know and they'll ship it right out to you.

Another Pair of Stitching Sisters

Remember my interviews with twin sisters Eileen Aird (owner of the Ridgewood Needlepoint shop) and Elizabeth Hess (owner of Needlepoint Broad painted canvases)?  I've found another pair of sisters in the business, Cindy of Cindy's Needle Art and Randi of Sew Much Fun.  Cindy's shop is in Canada but she has an online store.

Here's a brief interview Cindy did with her sister about the Sew Much Fun line.

And here are some of the Sew Much Fun designs for your viewing pleasure. (Prices are in Canadian dollars if you fall in love.)

Many thanks to the Spinster Stitcher who is going to stitch one of the frog designs from Sew Much Fun.  I got curious and tried to find a photo of the canvas online only to discover this interview and all the interesting designs that the shop sells.
