Best Needlepoint Kits: A Review

Poppy Monk Needlepoint has posted an article on their blog with their reviews of what they think are the best needlepoint kits.

I don't agree with many of their choices but they make some good points about what to look for and what threads are easier for a beginner to use (although they skip perle cotton entirely, which is a great and not very expensive choice for designs).

The Hidden Costs of Shopping Online

Please note the costs aren't just for the seller, the buyer gives up a little privacy in order to get the convenience.  This is yet another reason to patronize that little needlepoint shop in the next town--they are not being forced by the Online Mafia to hand over your shopping information so the Online Mafia can sell other stuff to you than what you wanted to buy.
