The Smart Cookie's Stocking

The Smart Cookie Award for this month goes to a customer of Eye Candy's who took their rectangular fairy tale collage and made it into a stocking topper!

Here is the original design, 8x9 inches on 18 count.  Very clever!

Shirlee's Snow White

Shirlee at Needle and Hook is an expert in tambour embroidery, but she's dabbled in other forms of needlework, including needlepoint.  Check out this amazing adaptation of a fairy tale illustration!

It took her three years.  I am not surprised!

New from Eye Candy!

Ada Hayden has just posted about her newest designs for Eye Candy. This time she's added fairy tale themed designs and Christmas ornaments. Check out the Princess Cat and the Pea....

The Christmas ornaments will look fabulous when stitched but I can't wait to see what someone does with Rapunzel's hair.
