Birds Eye Maple Mirrors with Inserts

Alex Paras Needle Arts has Sudbury mirrors with inserts for stitching on sale.  There are three sizes of Birds Eye maple mirrors and one size with a gold gilt frame.

I don't know how easy these are to insert your stitching yourself but Sudbury has a lot of self-finishing boxes that work well.  If you want a mirror to showcase your stitching, these are a bargain.

A Clever Framing Touch

Mindy shows off one of her canvases which was framed with an unusual touch--a string of pearls inside the circle of the mat.

Breaking News: Mountain Shadow Studio is Closing

Mountain Shadow Studio just posted an announcement on Facebook that the shop is closing. They are going to retire!

Tanja Berlin is continuing to build out her new website, adding PDF files about various techniques, some of which are free and some of which are lessons to buy. I highly recommend her free file that teaches you how to mount your needlework on acid free board before framing it.
