Everything for the Beginner, Even Frames

Do you have someone who might like to learn needlepoint on your holiday gift list?  The Needlepointer has some darling beginner kits called 1st Stitch that have everything you need to start stitching and even include a frame for finishing your piece at the end.  The designs are from Pippin and it looks like the only other thing your new stitcher will need is a pair of scissors.

The Needlepointer Has a New Home

The Needlepointer has moved from Everett, Washington to Edmonds, Washington.  Their new address is 22811 100th Ave West, Edmonds, WA 98020 and their phone numbers are (425) 252-2277 or (888) 252-9733.  Here's wishing them great success in the new location.

They are now open Monday through Friday from 10 - 6 and on Saturdays from 10 - 4.  They are closed Sundays.  Of course their online store is open 24/7.

Nimble Needle in New Jersey shows off the finishing of their customers' work in this lovely posting. There is a lot to see and enjoy but take special notice of the Pippin Halloween witch hat  and shoes pillows at the top and bottom.  The finishing styles are very different and give a different finished look to the same sort of designs.  Finishing options are limitless and they really do make a piece.

Introducing Pippin Studio

The Needlepointer has uploaded painted canvases from a new designer, Jennifer Tan who designs under the Pippin Studio name.  I think she is going to be particularly well known for her Twelve series of stockings and pillows, each with twelve versions of Santa, twelve sweaters, or twelve sailboats.  Have fun browsing these graphic interpretations of items all around us.
