Two Monogram Alphabets from Amy Bunger

Somehow I totally missed the fact that Amy Bunger has created two monogram alphabet charts.

These diagrams show you how to interweave letters to create your own personalized monogram.  One alphabet has letters than are 30 threads high while the other is only 20 threads high.

Tracy Franklin Interview

Textile Artist has a wonderful interview with the British embroiderer Tracy Franklin.

I first noticed Tracy through her goldwork but she does crewel, pulled work and many other types of embroidery which you can see on her website.

If you want to read more about Tracy and her embroidery, this older article from Piecework magazine may be of interest.
